Even the crazy weather wasn’t able to keep a hell of a crowd from coming out to Tygart Lake Golf Course this past Saturday. It ended up being a 3-piece acoustic show but it didn’t provide any less excitement. We broke out some old tunes we haven’t played for awhile and even made an attempt at some new material. It was a great time, thanks to everyone who made it out!

This is going to be a busy week. Wednesday night Zack will be hosting Open Mic at JC Maxeys in Bridgeport from 9-12. Thursday, George heads north to Strykers Bar and Grill in Waynesburg, PA for an acoustic performance from 8-11pm. On Friday, George will be back in Grafton at Strykers for another acoustic show from 9pm till midnight. Stop by for dinner and stay for the music. There will be two full band shows on Saturday. The first will be at the Wheeling Jamboree Radio Show from 7:15-8pm then its off to Avella, PA for a show at Sputsy’s Pub and Grub. This will be a 4 hour performance beginning at 9:30pm. We have been looking forward to being on the radio and playing at some new venues!

Looking ahead to next week, The GSB will be headlining Rhythm and Brews 3rd Anniversary Celebration in Morgantown on Saturday. There will be bands playing all day. This is a great opportunity to check out some of the areas best talent and a great variety of music. There will be acoustic performances as well as full band shows. The GSB will take the stage around 10pm and play the rest of the night. We will also be playing full band at Strykers in Waynesburg, PA on Friday night. See ya soon…. The GSB
